Many hiking and recreational routes allow you to make a genuine contact with nature and friendly locals. Select a route according to your needs and/or wishes, longer or shorter, easier or more challenging, through the plains or vineyards etc. Take a trip on your own or in a selected company and enjoy the wonderful and unique travel experience.

Wineries and vineyards help shape the contours and image of the landscape which is typical of a region that ascends from the Pannonian Plain and transitions into the first hillsides of Goričko. On the way, you can make a stop at one of the local catering or other service providers.

The Panonian trail leads to many cultural and natural sites located. We recommend a visit to the modern tourist centre, which preserves the local cultural heritage, as well as a trip to wine cellars and vineyards which offer amazing scenic views over the walked routes.

Evropska pešpot E7 SLO

(European hiking path E7 SLO)

The E7 European long-distance international footpath running through various European countries, from areas at the Atlantic Ocean through the Mediterranean, past Lake Garda, and all the way to south Hungary.

Four sections of the E7 SLO European footpath lead through the Goričko Hills: Moravske Toplice – Kančevci monastery – Kamenek lookout tower – Gornji Petrovci – Hodoš.

Pomurska planinska pot – Via Pomurje

The Pomurje hiking trail was established in 1962. The first eight sections lead over the Goričko hills and through the villages of Murska Sobota, Selo, Gornji Petrovci, Martinje, Dolič, Serdiški breg, Rogašovci, Grad, Bodonci and Radenci.

Evropska pot sv. Martina Tourskega

(European path of St. Martin Tourski)

In 2005, the Council of Europe awarded the European Cultural Route award to a trail leading from Szombathely in Hungary to the French city of Tours. The route connects towns and cities that marked the life of one of the most popular European saints. Saint Martin was born in Szombathely, in the former Roman settlement of Savaria. He was buried in Tours. The European Saint Martin of Tours Route, with the entire trail being 2500 km long, connects the two cities.
